1. Phase 4 at a Glance

English — Phase 4 was about people: sick passengers, an incapacitated pilot, an injured crew member, drunks and door-pullers, threats real and false, lasers, and one wrong transponder digit. The thread through all of it: pilots manage the flight, not the person — doctors treat, police restrain, security assesses, and our job is to get the aircraft, and everyone in it, to the right ground help fast.

같은 동사를 여러 사람 문제에서 써 보세요. 예: The crew restrained him. / We relayed the details ahead. / Security assessed it as low risk.

4. Q1 / Q2 Answer Flow

Q1 — 90초 뼈대(3문단):

1. 무슨 일(2문장) — A passenger developed … / The purser reported …
2. 조치·상호작용(3~4문장) — The crew …, we contacted …, and we asked ATC for … to meet the aircraft.
3. 결과 + 한 줄(1~2문장) — He was handed over to … Pilots decide the transport, not the treatment.

Q2 (ATC·지상 평가) — 틀 고정 금지, 오프너·마무리 바꿔가며:

Situation: In the cruise, a passenger who had been drinking became loud and aggressive — and while the crew were handling him, an elderly passenger seated nearby developed chest pain. Describe what happened and how you handled it.

In the cruise we had two problems at once. A passenger who had been drinking kept shouting and refusing instructions — and while the crew were handling him, an elderly man seated nearby developed chest pain, most likely from the stress of it all.

The crew split the work. One team walked the unruly passenger through the steps — calm talk, no more alcohol, then the warning card with the Captain's agreement — while the purser found a doctor on board for the elderly man. We contacted our medical advice service, and when they recommended landing soon, the question of whether to continue was settled: we diverted, and asked ATC for police and paramedics together, with the patient's details passed ahead.

At the gate, the paramedics boarded first for the patient, and the police took the other man after. The noisy problem was never the dangerous one — you rank problems by harm, not by volume.

모범답안 — Q2 (예시)

What stood out was that one call did all of it. We asked once — police for one passenger, paramedics for another, details passed ahead — and on arrival both teams were there, each knowing which seat was theirs. Nobody confused the patient with the troublemaker, which sounds small but is exactly the coordination that matters.

If anything, the first minutes at the door were crowded: both teams arrived together, and there was a short discussion about who boards first. The order should be settled in advance — medics first, always, because the patient cannot wait and the man in handcuffs can. Still, it sorted itself in under a minute, and both passengers left the aircraft with the right people.
